Curated Moments
Propose in Madrid.
One evening, one question, and a city that has to behave. We design it, produce it, and stay out of the frame. From €1,200.
What you are actually buying
Search for this and you will mostly find photographers with packages. A photographer matters, and they arrive for the part that happens after the hard work. The hard work is knowing where you should be standing, what the light does there at that hour in that month, how many people will be behind you, whether anything can legally be placed on the ground, and what the covered alternative is. Then it is having one person whose only job that evening is to make sure none of it reaches you.
From
€1,200
Most proposals land between that figure and €2,500 once a private venue, musicians or a car for the evening are in it. The written proposal carries the final number before you commit to anything.
What that covers
- The location, scouted at the same hour you will use it
- A photographer in position before you arrive, working from a distance
- Flowers chosen with you and kept cold until the last moment
- A bottle on ice, waiting where you will want it
- A table booked for afterwards, at a restaurant that knows what happened
- A second location under cover, held for the same hour
- One person on the ground all evening, in contact with nobody but you
What moves the figure
- A private terrace or venue, which carries its own hire fee
- Musicians
- A car and the same driver for the whole evening
- More than two people to photograph, or to keep in position
- Anything that has to be built rather than carried
Four things people ask before they trust us with this
How the secret holds
Everything goes to one address, the one you choose. We do not call, we do not use a shared number, and nothing arrives anywhere in your partner's name. On the evening the photographer is in place before you are, carrying nothing that looks like equipment. If you share a phone or an inbox, say so in your first message and we will work around it.
Who you are talking to
One person handles your proposal from the first email to the last, and that same person is the one standing quietly out of shot on the night. Not a form, not a rota, not a different name each time you write.
How fast you get an answer
A written reply within 24 hours, from a person. A full proposal with the location, the hour, the covered alternative and the figure within 48 hours of the brief. If your date is less than two weeks away, put that in the first line and we will tell you honestly which parts we can still do well.
If it rains, or the surprise slips
Every proposal is designed with a second location under cover, at the same hour and to the same standard. We make the call by midday and we tell only you. If the surprise comes apart before the day, most of what is booked can move to another evening while you are still in Madrid.
How the weeks run
01
First contact
You write. Nothing is booked and nothing is charged. We ask about the dates, the two of you, and how much of Madrid you already know.
02
The proposal, in writing
Within 48 hours: one location and one alternative, the exact hour and why, what the evening looks like minute by minute, and the figure.
03
Two weeks before
The brief closes. Flowers, table, music and anyone who needs to be in position are confirmed and paid for. From here we stop asking you questions.
04
The day before
A walk-through at the same hour, so you have stood there once before it counts. Ten minutes, and it changes everything about how the evening feels.
05
On the hour
You arrive on your own. Somebody is already watching, and you will not see them. Afterwards there is a table, and it is already arranged.
Where in Madrid
Nine places we use, and the rule that applies to each one. Some are public and free, and all they ask is that you are there at the right hour. Some need a request weeks ahead if you want to put anything on the ground. One of them, almost certainly the one you have already found, cannot legally be used for this at all, and is being sold for it anyway.

Where to propose in Madrid
Before you write
- How much does a proposal in Madrid cost?
- Ours start at €1,200 and most land between there and €2,500 once a private venue, musicians or a car are involved. Below that figure, what Madrid sells is usually a photographer with a small setup for a few hundred euros. That is a real product and for some people it is the right one. It is not the same product.
- How far in advance should I book?
- Four weeks is comfortable and two weeks is workable. With less than a week we will tell you which parts we can still do properly and which we cannot, rather than take the booking and improvise. Late November to mid February is when most proposals happen, and those dates go first.
- Can you set up at the Templo de Debod?
- No, and we would be careful with anyone who says yes. Madrid city council authorises photography and filming inside the Debod grounds only when the purpose is the cultural promotion of the monument or of the museum activities held there, with the request made seven days ahead and the shoot on a Monday. It states that any other purpose, free or commercial, will be refused. Proposals are sold there regardless. We work where we have permission.
- What happens if it rains?
- Every proposal we design has a second location under cover, held for the same hour and to the same standard. We make the call by midday and we tell only you. Nothing else about the evening changes.
- Can you really keep it a secret?
- That is most of the job. We write to one address, the one you choose. We never call, we never use a shared number, and nothing is delivered anywhere in your partner's name. Tell us in your first message if you share a phone or an email account and we will plan around it.
- Is the photographer included?
- Yes. They are in position before you arrive, work from a distance and do not come near until you look up. What you get afterwards are photographs of the two of you, not a set of pictures of you both looking for the camera.
- We do not speak Spanish. Is that a problem?
- No. Everything is arranged in English and the person with you on the evening works in English. Nothing about the day asks you to negotiate in Spanish with anyone.
- What if we have to move the date?
- Tell us as soon as you know. Most of what we book can be moved to another evening while you are still in Madrid. Some things, a private venue above all, are held with money the venue does not return. The written proposal says which is which before you commit to anything.
Tell us the date and the two of you.
One message is enough to start. You will have a written reply within 24 hours and a full proposal within 48 hours of the brief.
